What is Stream Prime?
This is what stated in the official Stream Prime website:A Powerful, Online Platform Solution To Transform The Business World As You Know It Today.
What Stream Prime really is?
Nothing but scam to their own employees and the potential customers.Introduction
Lets see how Stream Prime and so called the owners of the software that are Nowera International formerly known as Gemini C Group and currently disguised as Aypoch Capital Investments are the same "company" and the so called "owner" of them Christopher Cristian scammed their employees and their customers for a long time. And this has to stop sooner.Early Scams
It started in late 2011 when I began my freelance career as a graphic designer in oDesk. As one of the first jobs I applied, I got a project to create about 200 graphics for a software interface. I completed the work and got paid. Then after few months they contacted me again to create an opening animation for their software "Stream Prime". Ive been contacted by 2 people for all these projects. Christopher Christian and Yvette Mayflower. During this project, their oDesk account got banned for some reason and this is what they told me.
We have decided to permanently revoke our membership completely from Odesk. After almost three weeks of discussion with Odesk billing to transfer our account to a more suitable one to meet the needs of our company, more specifically our standards and the well being of the people working for our company we feel that Odesk is simply not a suitable site to bring in new people to work for our company.
In our discussion we had 2 major concerns:
1) Our payment volume was going to significantly increase in the next 60 days as we are expanding our services and contractor membership. As a result we required that their processing system specifically decrease the lag time between when we pay contractors and when they receive it. Currently this is a minimum of 72 hours. We simply can not have people waiting 3 days or usually 5 days from what we understand after we have submitted a payment. In our opinion it should be instant.
2) The amount of money being taken away from our contractors is 10% and we requested that since our payment volume will increase that they decrease that to at least 5%. We are not accustomed to having any of the money we pay contractors siphoned off by a middle man (in this case Odesk) by any more than 1.5%. Most of the time we pay by paypal or by direct deposit or wire transfer. 10% is simply too high for our contractors and we don't like the way their policy is to contractors, we feel that they are taking way too much money from contractors and we simply would not tolerate this.
In light of this development the company has decided to move most of its contractor interest with other sites such as guru.com, elance.com, ifreelance.com and vworker.com amongst a few that we associate with. Unfortunately as a result of our decision to no longer associate with them Odesk naturally suspended all of our contracts which is understandable. They also claim that we were in violation of abusing their system when we paid contractors outside of Odesk. The problem with their claim on this is that we paid contractors outside of Odesk when we communicated outside of Odesk which is legal. But their support staff are so unfamiliar with their own rules that it's simply astonishing to us and unprofessional.
As a result of all this we will need to proceed forward with paying in an alternative manner. Usually we simply pay contractors by paypal or by direct deposit. If you have a paypal account please let me know it now. If you want to be paid by direct deposit then I need your direct bank account details. Your funds will be sent directly from our business account which can directly send funds to any country in the world with the acceptation of Guam, Iran, and Libya at this time. If you are not comfortable with that at this time that is fine. Alternatively if you have family or relatives in the United States that can transfer funds for you we can send them your check in the mail. Or you can sign up at guru.com get an account there and we will go ahead and remake the project for you. Our account on Guru has been upgraded and unlike on Odesk they did not have to recreate a new account for us altogether so we will be able to take care of this for you quickly.
Again you have four options -
1) Paypal
2) Direct deposit or wire transfer
3) A domestic check (within the US) to a trusted friend or family member
4) Sign up at guru.com and register your account there
Also, it's important to note that unless you choose option 4 all correspondence about your project will be required to be done by email, skype chat, or phone.
Please let me know which you would like at your soonest convenience so I can make the appropriate accommodations for you.
Then they've created another account and it too got banned soon. Then they offered me to continue the project through guru.com and that project too was completed successfully and I got paid without any problem. End of that story. But if you could follow this link and this, you'll find that not everyone was as lucky as me at that time. And please read the comments too.In our discussion we had 2 major concerns:

Beginning
Then after about a year Christopher contacted me saying that they've got a flash animation project and asking me to do it. Ive accepted it and during this project he said that the Stream Prime is acquired by Nowera International and they are hiring for new job positions and told me to apply. So I did for "Checkout and Gateway Development Specialist" with a colleague of mine. You can read the PDF they sent me from here Web Development Openings - Checkout & Gateway (Nowera).pdfPerformance Testing
They did something called "performance testing" and gave a half finished site to complete it by given deadlines. They told us that there are several candidates for the position and all of them are being tested at the same time. After about 3 months of testing, they told us that we are not qualified enough for the position and it was awarded to another guy who competed with us (Click here, and scroll down to see the position name and the guy who got it, [Screenshot]), but another position is available as the assistant to that previously mentioned one. And it will be available in 3 months. So we waited another 3 months and they contacted us in late July for the position. Everything looked good and we signed the contracts. Before signing there was a problem with the contract, they told us that they will employee us for 36 months, but in the contract it was mentioned as 18 months. I informed about this to Jess Harbor who was responsible about hiring and she mentioned that it was an error made by her and another corrected version was sent to us. And the strange thing was that she mentioned it was hard coded into the system and now it cannot be changed, but that she left a note. How strange. Here's what the email contained.
I have confirmed your inquiry with what we have on our system and you are in fact correct that the duration is 3 Years. Either way this would have been brought to your attention. I inquired why the approval notes on our system indicated 1.5 years with your Applicant Reviews point of contact, Mrs. Hayes, and she indicated that that was a typo on her part. I over skipped her comments on our system noting this because it’s very rare when there are typos.
Something Fishy?
After signing the contract, we had to stay another 3 months before they give us any work. And finally Christopher Christian introduced us to a guy named Steven Murphy and told us that he's our guy in charge. They mentioned that they need to change payment gateway from WePay that we integrated during the performance testing period to NMI and several fixes throughout the site. Then they gave us the temporary location of the website. Well well well, it was the same IP that was given to us during the testing. What has happened to the one the site that "qualified guy" created? And strangely, it was the same site that we modified during the testing period. Yep, there's something going on here. They were deliberately lying to us and trying to pay less.NMI
Here's what happened during the NMI integration period. He said that this is quite important and gave us a 15 days deadline. Christopher has contacted us almost everyday via Skype and discussed everything about it and he insisted us on testing the payments from real credit cards, even though the testing credit card numbers provided from NMI validated that the payments are being processed correctly. So I used my Top-Up card to test it. Top-Up card is a card that does not get directly connected to any bank account. You'll have to transfer funds to the card first before making any payments. It's quite safe to use in the Internet. So, I transferred 1 Dollar and made a transaction and well, what do you expect? Of course it went without any problem. Then the next day he insisted on testing the recurring payments as well. We had to wait another day to test it as NMI doesn't allow recurring payment delay less than 24 hours. And when it too processed without any problem, he suddenly disappointed. After another week he has replied that all the things are working and it's good to go.To Customers
And here's something for the people that are going to buy this service to be afraid of. They can see your Credit Card numbers and CVVs in the admin panel of NMI and here's the scariest part. They are still trying to charge me $19.90 every month to this day from my card that I used to test. They didn't even remove my card. And it's a good thing that my card is a top-up card. Only I can grant what can be charged. And for my good luck, that card has expired last December. So they can't do anything to that. So they are doing this to an employee. Now imagine as a customer?Afterwards
And after another 2 days (11/16/2013), Jess Harbor contacted us and, here's what she said.
This letter serves to confirm that your status as an Employee is pending Recommencement. In addition your first month deposit is currently pending due to a considerable delay on your first assignment.
Your current status is as follows:
Due to a delay on your first assignment in being overdue by 24 days from the original end date you will need to complete at least 10 more work days upon your next assignment that is issued in order to receive your first month deposit. Your first assignment was due on October 20 and it was confirmed on my end as being completed on November 13 – hence a 24 day overdue period.
Typically, you would need to rectify your delay by also working an additional 24 days in order to make up for the lost time – however a special remittance order from Mr. Christian was endorsed to make this instead 10 days since he felt that since it is your first time working with our company you deserved leniency.
Should you wish to dispute this please let me know no later than Monday, November 18 for consideration from the Selection Committee.
Once your second assignment starts you will need fulfill all expectations of the coordinating officer in charge over a period of 10 days – at which point your first month salary will be fulfilled.
Should you have any questions please let me know.
They are delaying our payments because they made us wait and do the testings via Live Credit Cards that didn't mention us at the beginning of the assignment and then the whole week they took to reply us that we had nothing to do with. So we disputed.Your current status is as follows:

It is true that we were unable to complete our very first assignment on time, but as Mr.Christopher was closely monitoring the status of the project, he will confirm that we completed all other components on time except NMI integration. NMI API was not convenient at all at the first place & it seriously lacks a proper documentation. Also we were told to contact our supervisor of this particular assignment (i.e. Mr.Christopher) in order to get any help related to NMI which later changed & said contact NMI directly and get necessary help. That's how the assignment took 3X time than expected. In our point of view, we don't deserve mercy, we completed the project as soon as possible, which includes the time took for communicating via emails as well as time NMI took to reply for our mails. Finally, we will agree with your final decision on this matter and hope we won't be allocated for projects with dead ends like this, in the future.
We heard nothing regarding that from them again.Suddenly Steven
And for another month, we didn't hear anything from them. Then suddenly Steven contacted us saying this,
Your next project has been confirmed and we are only pending on the clearance from Logistics at this time. The next project will not involve API development but rather Architectural Development and Code Optimization. There was a bit of a delay in scheduling due to the prior project’s timing. I’ll be I touch soon to get you guys underway with your next project.
The next project associated with Web Architecture is still pending. I was hoping by now that the resources you guys needed to get underway would be available but these have not yet been furnished by the Design department. At this point I’d like to wait another week. If by then we don’t have you guys starting I’m going to recommend to Billing that they pay you guys for your first month as you have been waiting longer for the next project than I had hoped for.

And then comes the Jackie Cambridge act. Here's the entire conversation between me and her.

And I'd like to link you to another site, you might find similar story. Click here.
Websites
Now to the best part. Now I'm going to prove you that all these above mentioned companies are bogus and being handled by the same person, Christopher Christian.First, lets start with the websites.
Gemini C Group
Lets do some analysis. Here's the whois record. Nothing suspicious isn't it? OK try to remember the IP address for now.Nowera International
here's the whois record. Again the IP address. And I have to state that this domain was previously registered to Christopher Christian to this address "12814 Royal George Avenue Odessa, FL 33556" before he hide the registration information. And the funny thing is, how could he be the registrant of the company that acquired his company?Aypoch Capital Investments
whois record I have to say a lot about this website. Scroll down to see more infromation about that. You may call this as a coincidence, but it's too far from it, considering about the amount of websites that are hosted.
Christopher Christian
Now I'm going to prove you that this over 9000 employees of Stream Prime are just 1 person.Lets do some analysis,
Lets analyze an email from Christopher Christian.
This is called an email header. This is what you receive an email, and the email client displays us only what we actually needs to see.

OK now you can say that everybody worked in the same place, so they have the same IP address. I agree with that, but the helo mentioned above is the Computer name name that you put in when you are installing Windows. So all these emails are being sent from a single PC. Now are you telling me that everybody's sending emails from 1 PC? Do they have only one PC?
The Aypoch
And here's the latest story. Stream Prime is being acquired by a company called Aypoch Capital Investments. And they are handling the payments.First of all this is a web template and not even the slider images or some sample text and the sample images in "Our Clients Include" are replaced. This was created in a hurry, if you look at the domain registration date. It was just four days earlier before Jackie Cambridge sent me the email saying about this website. Now a company has an interest about some software and acquiring it but didn't even have a website or presence in the Internet. That's funny. And here's ascreenshot as if today (3/21/2014) of the website, before they change it too.
Now lets see the about us page [screenshot]

Interesting post...I'd like to chat with you.
ReplyDeleteI just read your post and I am sick to my stomach at the level of deceit that was used in the company. I wasn't a freelancer. I was an "employee." That's worse! My time, financial commitments, and family suffered because of the lies.
ReplyDeleteElisha- I, too was an "employee" but have never received a dime - for over 4 years! Please file with the FL attorney general's office who I am working with - just visit the website at http://myfloridalegal.com/contact. We need to reach out to all who we can to file! I'd also like to speak with you - if you're interested.
ReplyDeleteI have been scammed by them also as an employee.. Promised me shares and what and what not..
ReplyDeleteHas anybody heard from Christopher Christian or the so-called Aypoch Company???
ReplyDeleteI'm just going to through this out there. I just received a nice from a company that didn't pay me fairly. Do you think we can sue? I realize that we can't pursue Streamprime legally for fraud
ReplyDeleteI meant to say a nice settlement. Sorry for the typo
ReplyDeleteAre there any recent updates on this?
